The real story behind all those UFOs the Air Force was shooting down last week is quite embarrassing.

I’m guessing someone at NORAD has now figured out why the sensitivity settings on the radar was turned down in the first place.

I mean, this is all really funny until one of these gets sucked into the engine of a 737, or worse, gets stuck covering the windscreen of a commercial airliner.

You just can't put balloons (or drones) into an altitude where planes fly.

I welcome the upcoming regulations concerning the launching of an unlicensed aerial craft into the airways.

@boelder @carnage4life Airliners are already certified to withstand impact from birds. The present regulations, that specify maximum weights and areal densities for unlicensed balloons, must be derived from those about birds.
