Its the final day (Day 24) of our calendar series youtu.be/hRxQNSp-iz4

Merry for 2022 to all our viewers & subs!

I forgot an #introduction! BBC Micro bot runs your posts on an 8-bit computer emulator.

People create small programs for it in BBC BASIC, a language created by Sophie Wilson in 1981 for the BBC Micro. (She later used BBC BASIC to create the ARM architecture - now the most widely used CPU architecture in the world.)

It's amazing what people create in a few lines of code for a 1980s home computer! You can see 1000s of examples at bbcmicrobot.com

So here's something you don't hear very often... "I have just bought a new game for my Plus/4". Yup. New Commodore Plus/4 64k game 😎👍🕹️

Compiling tip.

Make sure you are compiling the right code for the project you are testing.

PSA: If you're in Australia and are after a TI99/4a, there are 4 (!!) of them on eBay Au due to finish in the next couple of hours.

The only downsides:
- none of them have power supplies
- they're beige, meaning there's a good chance they have the cursed V2.2 ROM

If you're still not put off by that, here you go. ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R

Sunday viewing for you youtu.be/oSgch7tQJCY
New video highlights of the recent computing festival @computermuseum

You you go? & more importantly did you say hi?

"Fedora" plot...
(I converted to BBC BASIC from Atari 8 bit listing on AtariAge forum)

4 FOR I=0 TO 320:RR(I)=193:NEXT I

6 FOR ZI=64 TO -64 STEP -.5
7 ZT=ZI*2.25:ZS=ZT*ZT
8 XL=INT(SQR(20736-ZS)+0.5)
9 FOR XI=0-XL TO XL STEP.5
10 XT=SQR(XI*XI+ZS)*XF
11 YY=(SIN(XT)+SIN(XT*3)*0.4)*56
12 X1=XI+ZI+160:Y1=90-YY+ZI
13 IF RR(X1)<=Y1 THEN 16
14 RR(X1)=Y1
15 PLOT 69, X1*4,800-Y1*4
16 NEXT XI:NEXT ZI

This might be one of the more stupider ideas going.... but...... Dose anyone think live draw in without externals is possible?
