Yeah, all solutions seem to be targeted exclusively at blocking with certificates.
Come on, just whitelist if you don't want to leave any chance for bad actors to appear (without your permission).

@espectalll I guess you could remain federated and create a safe space of a few servers. It just seems kind of silly to me, that you would be willing to allow some people to be admins of servers only if they have political consensus with you to maintain the illusion of freedom/diversity of opinion to the userbase. What makes this different from Jack Dorsey?
