Dicussing :wq vs. :x in #vim with co-workers. Yeah, the latter is shorter but I somewhat prefer the latter due to muscle memory. #neovim #StuffThatReallyShouldNotMatter

That aside, I find that sort of #vim golfing kinda useless. Yes, there is always a shorter key combination that one can show off with but if you didn't commit that entirely to muscle memory those tricks are rarely any faster. #neovim

@raichoo I use :wq but I also use the arrow keys, so take that as you will. The big takeaway is that we can all comfortably and effectively edit text

@wmarshall Indeed. I have been using the arrow keys myself for quite a while and I have a co-worker who is still using them. Nevertheless, that guy writes some pretty impressive code, does it really matter how he navigates his code base? :D
