@zorba Efforts to “give people back their free will”, so they can start taking responsibility, as Jerry Coyne is arguing for seems to be something I can get behind. The argument goes so far that the lack of options of a person with problems also reduce his free will.
Although: Upper-case Conservatism then ask “how desperate is desperate enough, then?” is indeed an argument that I now see bringing the other tumbling down like a house of cards. Hmm.
