not having pluggable conflict resolution seems pretty crazy to me. That's one of the main things I'd think you'd need in such a system.
Is it worth trying to build that into syncthing or should I put together a really dumb partition-tolerant file sync solution that I can add conflict resolution to from the start?

@2ck The Windows wrapper SyncTrayzor picks up conflicts very quickly; I presume it picks these up from watching the incoming change list via the API. Suggests that conflict detection is fairly pluggable already.
