Question of the Day: What's the best twist you've experienced in a video game?

Final Fantasy X: when you get to Auron explaining the whole thing before challenging Yunalesca, and you understand how much the church has been hiding all along. What the pilgrimage really is.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake: when you learn that it's *in canon* a remake — that the events of the original game actually happened within the new game's story.

that FF7 twist is wild. I hadn't planned on playing because I figured the original already "did it all" in some sense. That's cool there's actually another layer to it @ami_angelwings
