im not like anywhere near as wide reaching as contrapoints but i just want to reiterate that i think everyone is deserving of love and respect and even if your lived experience as a trans, gay, or otherwise gender nonconforming person doesn’t line up with the commonly spoken experiences of others you’re still valid and i love you and respect you all the same
i think it should be a normal part of meeting new people to learn their pronouns, just like you learn their names. it’s not something special or monumental, it’s just a part of who you are
@CyclopsCaveman If I ever meet you I will have hard enough time remembering your name. When we meet again, I will have forgotten your name, and absent a name tag I will ask it again. As for your pronouns, I will mostly be using "you" as I will rarely have reason to speak of you in 3rd person. And if I do speak of you in 3rd person, it would be by your name. I just don't find pgp's useful.
