@mk @moa_party @foozmeat Well isn't that what people are doing now? From what I can tell the instance is invite only and local to Portland. If it is likely that they have a population of transgender or those who love them, and they are trying to create a safe space for them then they would do well to insulate from spinster. Probably a fair number of other instances as well. They just don't want you "saving" their "sinners", if you get my metaphore.
Not everyone is into the open exchange of ideas.
I am not sure if "men" has anything to do with it. It hurts the back of my head just below my ear on the left whenever you use the word "men" with the venom I imagine in the tone. (I admit this can simply be my own perception, but it comes across that way when I read it.) There are whole chunks of history that I fear are being forgotten, and learned strategies that will have to be re-imagined because of it.
There was a time when black persons and white persons had to work in cooperation to get justice. There was a time when lesbians had to work with gay men to get justice. There was a time when gay persons had to work together with straight persons to get things accomplished. If each continued to alienate the other framing them in the devil role nothing would have been accomplished, or perhaps regression would have been the outcome.
I can agree or disagree with your writings. You can't discount my opinions solely based on my chromosome patterns.
Keep doing what you are doing, and don't worry about pdx.social. :)
