@Hanktank Yes, by definition. Abiogenesis, the creation of the first self-replicating life, is one of the big potential bottlenecks. If any life is left it immediately continues evolving...assuming we're not talking a non-viable population. But even if it was a single human, there's maybe enough of a bacterial payload in the body to kickstart things.
