being far-left or far-right is pointless unless there is civil unrest in your country and your faction stands a chance of arranging a coup. you're not going to get people who are closer to the centre to join your cause, so you're essentially just voicing opinions that most people disagree with, to minimal or no effect. i'm sure it's a fun little club to be a member of though.
