The main problem with Electron is that it actually fucking *works* unlike all the other alternatives that don't have 250+ megabytes of overhead.

@robbie assuming a specific definition of “works”. Electron UIs tend to be unstable and break constantly, lag and freeze on weaker machines, not to mention consuming ridiculous amounts of resources even when they don’t and integrating with the rest of the desktop about as well as a website.
