@Amikke
What'd VGA ever do to you out of curiosity?
It's a simple, robust and universal display standard that just works™ when one needs it to, no?
@fox it's relatively bulky, either annoying to attach and remove or holding on a prayer, and it's analogue in the age when AFAIK the last monitors actually using the analogue signal died off somewhere in the '00 years so for the past 2 decades we've been turning digital to analogue to send it through VGA and then analogue back to digital to actually display it.
@Amikke
In my opinion its bulk is more than made up for in its durability, I've never had one of those break compared to say HDMI and the screws prevent any intermittent signal issues caused by loose connections.
Just personal preference though
@Amikke @nixCraft But, but the cables were so much fun, and never got tangled with all the others. Plus, SCART was even worse 😬
