A lot of pessimism about technology and the future these days. Not necessarily undeserved, but I wonder if we'll ever see a return to the kind of optimistic sci-fi seen in the 20th century.

@VD15 we've been proven that even infinite free access to the whole sum of humanity's knowledge doesn't stop people from being fucking retarded and in fact it seems to make things worse as a direct result of everyone having a loud voice and idiots having the numbers advantage. I don't think we're recovering from this any time soon.
