@Genen @PawelK @SirDingus @rin @smigol I've heard that Ukrainian is like Russian but with Romanian influence. It was almost like Russian.

@AmpBenzScientist
Not cnnected to romanian in linguistics imho.

Ukrainians say russians stole their language. It could be in line with ukrainian belief that when first settlements in ukraine were being formed, in place of today russia also known then as Moscovia there were only trees and grizzly bears.

@PawelK @Genen @SirDingus @rin @smigol Kalashnikov was Ukrainian but in the Red Army. He was injured in combat and started designing a rifle in Russia. They had the resources and made it possible. So it was a Ukrainian who worked alongside Russians with captured Germans to produce the rifle. Russia has really embraced the Kalashnikov Concern and they are using state of the art machinery in production of small arms.
Because of limitations of the design, it can't be made as accurate as the M16 or M4 but they have come close. China's military rifles are not as good as either but seem to be mediocre at everything instead of excelling. It was even mentioned that it had less recoil than an AK-74 which allegedly has less recoil than an M16. I was shooting an AR15 since I was 11, I never noticed recoil from it.

@PawelK @Genen @SirDingus @rin @smigol I was going to mention a shotgun as actual recoil but I decided not to.
