@Godcast Honestly, for a fanservice show most of the girls sucked.

Nonon made me want to choke her and hit her with a boot.

Mako was fucking annoying.

Nui combines the worst aspects of the previous two.

The nigger was a nigger.

Ragyo's only value is that she shows that Satsuki will age like fine wine.

Ryoko is rule 63 shadow the hedgehog. Bonus points for technically being a monstergirl just barely.
@randbot @mkultra @Godcast shit was amazing, solid animation, decent amount of upskirt and titty shots, good take on philosophy/WW2, outstanding music. I can hear this fucking image.
@Wormwood @randbot @Godcast >good take on philosophy/WW2

It was just a shonen that people overrate b/c trigger.
@mkultra @randbot @Godcast It has some really good insights about clothing, and the psychology behind it. In the show, clothing gives you power. But this is also true for real life. People will treat you according to how to dress. There's been a lot of studies about this. Your clothing or uniform determines your societal power. People will treat you according to how you dress. If you look like you're in charge you're in charge. If you look like shit, people treat you like shit.
@Wormwood @mkultra @randbot @Godcast >People will treat you according to how to dress

Yet this somehow escapes 80% of people in this sphere.
@TurboNormie @mkultra @randbot @Godcast I've been making an effort to dress better lately. not just more formal, but more fitted as well. Off the rack shit usually never fits right It's designed with the fattest American in mind.
@Wormwood @TurboNormie @mkultra @randbot @Godcast Gotta put the effort in. Collared shirts are an easy way to not look like a slob. For those without a lot of money, go to the thrift store in aemi affluent area and shop the rack by labels. Literally just look through the rack for clothes in your size and buy like five shirts from one of the 'upscale' mall brands as long as they're not stained and hideous looking. Those tend to be fitted and the higher end brands actually use quality fabrics and stitching that will last a lot longer than cheap shirts.

@BowsacNoodle @Godcast @mkultra @randbot @TurboNormie @Wormwood Nothing beats a classic black suit, black tie and oxford style shoes. It's a timeless look.

@AmpBenzScientist @BowsacNoodle @Godcast @mkultra @randbot @Wormwood The suit entered terminal decline in 2020 but the tie officially died then. There might be a few holdout BigLaw/Finance firms enforcing them but they're even gone from funerals now.
@TurboNormie @AmpBenzScientist @Godcast @mkultra @randbot @Wormwood What sucks is how the suit almost looks out of place now because it's so often a crappy afterthought like a uniform for the places that require it.

@BowsacNoodle @Godcast @mkultra @randbot @TurboNormie @Wormwood Not on FBI Agents, they stay sharp. They might not smoke anymore or have a 1911A1 or HiPower in a shoulder holster made of quality leather but they would look the same as the G Men.

@AmpBenzScientist Not on everyone I'm just saying half the time I see people in suits it's off the rack and poor fitting. I don't judge, really, and my favorite suit was like $150 off the rack. I'm talking more about using a suit to mask a poor overall presentation– unpolished shoes, wrinkled shirt, dirty tie etc.
@BowsacNoodle @AmpBenzScientist I think some part of why so many guys have poor fitting suits is because they don’t know how a suit *should* fit. They buy the wrong size when the right size is available. I’ve seen it any number of times. Personally I’ve had success finding off-the-rack suit that fit well.
@doomspiral @AmpBenzScientist Oh same. I have some tailored suits and a few off the racks. I like the tailored ones because they're wool and you basically can wear it forever without much dry cleaning. But I like the off the rack polyester ones where I can and do washing machine them.

@BowsacNoodle @doomspiral I'd rather wear a solid color BDU and boots. The fit will never be an issue.

@BowsacNoodle The suit is the pinnacle of inconvenience. Dry clean only and the shoes are perfect for ending up at the bottom of stairs parkour style.
