@inference Hydrate and get out of the clothes! As an American, no I don't but I know if I start getting cramps from being in the heat that I need to find a cooler area before I die. It takes about two months for the human body to adjust to a new climate. So don't worry about the future. We evolved to adapt.
@inference We have soldiers found dead from heat stroke here and it happens every summer. The best thing one can do is strip down and sip water while they are still conscious. Chugging water has caused some of the heat related deaths.
You ever been to a rave? It's kinda the same idea of keeping one's core temperature within an acceptable range. If it gets out of that range, it's not going to be good.
Don't drink alcohol and remember to stay hydrated. You can use the color of your urine to judge how hydrated you are. If you haven't pissed, it's definitely time to hydrate. I think the optimal area is around light yellow.
It sucks.
