i'm being bullshitted by bar and restaurant owners. they got SOMETHING i can't make in my home, no matter what i buy.

i have tried purchasing expensive ingredients to make a meal at home that replicates what you get at a bar or a restaurant. i'm thinking they have access to something i can't possibly get.
