"Go outside" and "Touch grass" sounds rude, but the people who say that are really just trying to save you time.

You can panic over events in the news or what people say on the Internet.

But these are words and pictures.

They're just trying to remind you that the people who are doing all the show and tell on the TV or the Internet are just hypnotising you with words and pictures.

The real world? That's different.

@thor Touch grass sounds like a very ungrounded thing to say. What type of grass? Why not touch a deciduous tall thing that uses capillary action in a more impressive way?
