So why is creating accounts on mastodon.social currently not possible? #twittermigration
@manish I think a lot of people felt safest in joining a server that had a ton of activity, maybe not understanding that all servers are connected, and thinking they would be more likely to find people on bigger servers. So... a bunch of people joined the same one and slowed things down a bit.
