There was more than one person. This was the Boomer issue during the Vietnam War embodied in a couple lines in the song "Eve of Destruction", as follows:
"You're old enough to kill but not for votin'
You don't believe in war, but what's that gun you're totin'?"
...and Boomers successfully changed the voting age from 21 to 18. You're welcome, youngsters. #OKBoomer
