I don't particularly like militaristic politicians who talk out of the sides of their mouths about u.s. support for genocide and who give mixed messages about protecting my rights as a trans person.

I'd like to make it clear, that if a gun were not being held to my head with Trump & Co, I wouldn't be voting for the Democratic presidential ticket in November. I would either leave that part of the ballot blank or choose a third party candidate.

This is why I decided to apply filters to exclude most posting about the Dem candidates for president/VP.

I'm thoroughly disgusted with them at this point and seeing all of the fan club cheering and promotion is leaving me in a foul mood.

I'm also angry and disgusted that my hand is being forced to vote for a party that does not deserve my support. That really pisses me off.

You're not going to get away from AIPAC no matter who you vote for, but know that's the plank that Harris has to walk now in the name of party unity, and it's not like she has much of a choice either as long as former Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz still runs things.

One of the take-aways I got from the acceptance speech is that she will be dealing with that further down the road. You've got more hope with Harris than you had with Biden.
