The only thing he probably heard at the time was that there was a gunman who was trying to run away. From this perspective, you can see that his actions were quite heroic, running towards a gunman.
Kyle's actions of self-defense were justified, but that doesn't mean that we should demean this man for trying to protect others.

@cowanon
Bad men can do good things and vice versa. The bald guy was an antagonistic assaulter who needed to get shot. The other two(from their perspectives) were just trying to stop what they thought was a mad gunman.

@Demosthenes >implying Rittenhouse is anything but a hero
Please go "peacefully" "protest".

@cowanon
I never implied he wasn't a hero. I'm just saying he wasn't the only hero.

@Demosthenes You know what don't bother replying, because I just saw your username ends in qoto.org which would be on par with seriously arguing with the dumb mother fuckers of gab, noagendasocial, or kiwifarms.
@cowanon @Demosthenes

Hey! I don't think I've argued with you ONCE. I could be wrong, you know morons and memory don't precisely go hand in hand.

@cowanon
A weak man attacks the origin of the person instead of the arguments he presents.

@Demosthenes @cowanon

This is actually kind of reasonable. It might have been more heroic to tell people to duck and cover from the running gunman though. Less people getting hurt. But who knows how you'll react when you're faced with these situations. These people clearly preferred action, so they would go after Kyle.

Just like Kyle liked guns and used it for self defense. Tragic. Would be better if people just protested and didn't break stuff and assault people.
