Asceticism is pointless.
Capitalism demands that the poor live an austere lifestyle, and anything you buy will be open for criticism. From here we get the narrative of deserving vs undeserving poor.
Poverty and class are not individual decisions, so don't continue that myth! If you can afford or steal it, get yourself what you want! Living like a monk won't make the world a better place. 🏴

Idk, my investments allow for me to accumulate capital, which then gives me leverage against employers.
If you can't change the game, you can at least play it
