What if hourly wages included how much you earned for the boss/owner instead of simply what they were willing to pay you?

I.e. the value you create AND the actual value your employer places on you while pocketing the difference.

@CaptMurica this would be difficult to enforce and could probably be gamed.

I think the easiest thing to do is what executives already do. Make pay rates public. That tells you how you compare with your peers and lets you know if you're being underpaid.
