Yeah, I think this is true!
Each of the social networks all serve slightly different rhetorical purposes
For activists looking to introduce issues to the mainstream, the trick with Twitter was that it's the place where mass media's attention was/is most focused (in a somewhat troubling and, at minimum, *lazy* fashion) ...
... and it's not clear what set of tools might replace that
