This #twitterfiles thing is kind of fascinating. The right has spun up plenty of fake scandals in past years, but this is somewhat unique in that a) they're doing it in an extremely high-profile way, b) it's very obvious to anyone paying attention that it's fake, and ...
... c) lots of high-profile people are shouting that it's fake.
The whole thing is like some demented sociological experiment: can the right create another fake scandal even while under the glaring spotlight of real-time mainstream factchecking?
