I'm kinda bummed. when there was a huge surge of going to mastodon from twitter and also looking at other twitter-alternatives, I signed up for a waiting list for what I thought was going to be a new tool/app/site. I was just approved, and it turns out it's a mastodon instance. I really like the values it espouses, but I'm already set up here. anyway. there's no real point to this post. 🙂

The culture there is their only calling card, but a strong one. The tech is completely vanilla masto.
You may not have noticed. Currently, while still in beta, they are not federated with anyone at all. Wall is all the way up.
Liking it a lot, but not useful at this time as a homebase. It feels funny to be on the right wing of an instance. 🙂
I don't think so, but they might have very limited federation. We'll see.
@EubieDrew I haven't used it at all, beyond setting up my username. Does it look like they're planning on staying not federated?
