@piggo so I see you sorted the wg story. Congrats. Wireguard is a good tech, but as you pointed out yesterday, I also feel it's rough around the edges. BTW, you could have saved yourself some worries with OpenVPN alternative.

wg is in the kernel, so maybe™ it will be more performant. It's useufl to learn new things anyway, i should write a blogpost about it, just for myself to remember how it i set it up lol

another adventure just now was to figure out a nat portforward with iptables, it needed 4 commands to be Just Right before it started working
