@pony Why? To me it looks like a temporary bridge in place until a proper 2-rail lines structure is built to the right of it. I would then expect it to be dismantled and the thing rerouted straight.
But of course I am not a civil engineer, so what do I know... But you seem to be properly into railways, so I am curious why this looks silly to you.
@FailForward yes, but just moving it took close to a year, why even bother, not tear it down right away and start building a new one without the circus
