Not that I own any, but worthless/plentiful/etc. or not, these gemstones are beautiful in how uniquely they refract and reflect light. Therefore, if you don't mind paying solid money for a pretty thing in a form of a green gemstone, I see no reason for not paying similar solid bucks for this clear gemstone. But again, I like to look at these things, but have no desire to own any. That statement of course does not excuse the crimes this stuff is surrounded by. It's just that I have some understanding for folks who fall for this kind of stuff, although I personally see little point in it. Or a Lamborghini Aventador.
