ooh a very exciting package just arrived! I wasn’t sure whether to expense this to the Office Supplies or the Research and Development account: I got some parts to make a few deeply obscure pens, to go along with the Oddly Specific Daybooks.

one challenge is that while I can recognize color and tip size, I was not expecting everything else to be in Japanese but I’m sure I’ll manage

The first pen: tri-color in red, green and dark blue. This isn’t too far out of the ordinary; you can pick up four-color pens at your local grocery store. Still, at 0.4 mm, this one is finer tipped than the clunky 1mm ballpoint you’d find in your average junk drawer. I could see this for color coding entries in the Daybook, or accounting for income and expenses. Still: not too exciting.

@joeycastillo I have been using almost that exact setup for years and I love it! (Red, green, and black.)

👍 - not the pen, but the content of your notebook. Led to some good reading on music composition. Thanks!
