@neumarcx Yes, technically mastodon seems to be okay. Main problem: the network is on Twitter.
Upcoming challenge: tighter moderation requirements by regulators will likely make it more difficult/risky to run and govern a node.
@FroehlichMarcel yes that might be an issue. but it's still only anticipated, so there is plenty of time to play. A "vorauseilender Gehorsam" has no place here yet.
@neumarcx the network problem could theoretically be easily solved „let’s all move to mastodon“ but unfortunately not like social dynamics tend to work. Small steps is what everyone can do.
