Hey #chemistry people. I want to say something numerical about a molecule's physical size other than "it big." Like a hydrodynamic radius but for a small molecule (bemotrizinol). Any suggestions? The idea is that its size makes it not absorb through the skin well.

@CraigOfWaffles probably just good ol’ fashioned Molecular Weight would work well here. At a MW of 627, bemotrizinol is large enough for a med chemist to look at it and think “that chonky”. Other, surface-based descriptors such as SASA and TPSA could also be relevant, but will come with some assumptions based on solvent etc, and might not be as intuitive.
