This sheet of paper is supposed to protect him. It won’t. But, to be fair, neither will the people who actually could.
@asociologist , Schools are still the safest place in the United States for kids. And as far as I know, the number one killer on school property is sports injuries. I wish we taught people that, rather than how to be scared. We are not doing our kids a service making them feel afraid 24/7.
@JonKramer @asociologist Sport has a benefit to individuals and society and is generally a positive activity. Guns main purpose is to kill things. There is no equivalence.

Opinion: that we are causing kids great harm by teaching them to fear schools, and telling them to expect to be shot to death at any moment, and practicing active shooter drills.

@Naich @asociologist I desire we become better strangers. Good people do not even ask the question "what is good about murder." Even thinking that question indicates you are a bad person. Have a nice life, away from me.
@Naich @asociologist , far anyone still not understanding, stop teaching your kids they are going to be killed if they go to school. You are commiting an insidious form of child abuse. Don't even tell them sports will kill them, but do insist they wear protective gear, because that is the #1 killer on schools, and far more injuries happen than deaths. Don't scar your kids with that either. Just teach your kids how to think, so you don't start thinking murder is OK.
@JonKramer @asociologist I don't know what happened to the other guy, but I think he was saying something about not teaching kids to fear school shootings? Yeah, we don't do that in the UK because we don't have school shootings because we have him control.
