@swordsjew , maybe a decade ago I had a reporter I followed endlessly posting about climate change. For the most part, she was right when she posted. But once she decided a particular random flood proved climate change. I responded no, that is weather, not proof of climate change. She angerly responded that she had written a story on climate change, and therefore I was wrong to correct her. My graduate work was in computational fluid dynamics, with planetary atmospheres the focus.
Mansplaining exists regardless of gender. Anyone can come off as holier than thou. It is a really annoying part of social media.
