@MarkRuffalo , in what form has Tesla received tax payer dollars, and are those forms unique to Tesla?
@CDunnPasadena @MarkRuffalo , as far as I know, that is the extent of the tax payer money invested. I do not think this justifies the use of eminent domain to force public use of facilities. If there is more, I would be interested in knowing about it. I would also suggest that the Tesla charging network is not as powerful as what is needed for a new EV Hummer. I suspect this reality is part of why the Tesla Cyber Truck is delayed.
@MarkRuffalo @JonKramer I looked into this once and the government money Tesla had received was the federal $7500 tax credit paid to purchasers of electric vehicles, which is generally available to manufacturers to encourage the adoption of EVs. The credit was limited to a specific number of vehicles, and Tesla had exhausted it. I think there is a new credit in place now.
