@Free_Press , It's pretty simple. He provided products and services people want. From Pay Pal to Tesla to Space X. This doesn't mean he is a great guy, or sane. Ford supported Nazis. I can't name a famous business man who loved black folks. Most of them are just bad people, but they hit on good ideas and sink their money into it.
@JonKramer @Free_Press But first of all: Heritage
@zyklop @Free_Press I'm genuinely confused about what your post means.
@JonKramer this

Most rich people are rich because of their parents bank account. Without heritage money there is not much chance to get more money. With a lot of heritage money you don’t have to do much to generate more.
@zyklop I think social stratification is a real thing. And the rich teach their kids how to be rich, while the poor teach their kids how to be poor. Doctors raise doctors, teachers raise teachers, etc. This is absolutely true. But, Musk's parents were not the richest people in the world, or even in the top 100K, and didn't have a company that sold around the world, was cutting edge tech, had industry changing impact, etc. Musk had a leg up, no doubt. But there was zero expectation he would end up where he did.
@JonKramer @Free_Press and that’s some interesting thought. Famous business man who loved black folks… I can not think of any non-black ones.
@JonKramer Thank you Jon - well said!
