I finally deactivated from Twitter. I know the automatic response to try and open the app is going to be a long time getting used to ignoring. I was on it since 2011,so it's kind of second nature. But it has become a cesspool of authoritarian groupthink and just toxic trolling.
@Eidolon180 just today I went for the 1st time in a week to Twitter. Google no longer recommended Twitter after typing "t" into the search bar. Or "tw".
That felt really good. Just knowing the addiction was effectively over. And has been over long enough for Google to figure it out.
