Does anyone know off the top of their head which human protein has the largest number of experimentally confirmed N-linked glycosylation sites? I suspect the smart money would be on MUC16, but I should know better than to make a prediction ... #teamProteome

@RonBeavis How many experimentally confirmed N-linked sites are on MUC16? I know there are quite a few sequons, but my understanding was that the N-glycan content was rather modest.

@JoshuaSharp I'm not really sure how many: I was hoping for wisdom from the sugary-folk.

@RonBeavis Not something I've ever thought much about before. MUC16 is a great guess just because it's so big, but my quick perusal suggests that the number of glycosites has not been experimentally measured.
