I think the reason why neurodivergent people are utterly dominating the group of people who see clearly about AI is twofold:

Neurodivergent people are much more used to introspection about thinking itself, so all this isn’t entirely new territory.

Secondly, patterns of thought are different so the sycophancy of chatbots and the simulacrum stands out much more.

Anyway, listen to your neurodivergent acquaintances when they tell you AI is shit
