Client: can you make a manual

Me: sure, here are 24 pages of documentation

Client, two mints later: in the meeting, you said the word X. What does that mean.

Me, internally: the word X is used across a quarter of the pages of the manual. They haven’t read it! What did I write this for?

Perhaps. Come about the 29 August I am to not respond to any requests by them. I really feel like they should at least be skimming the documentation I'm getting them to make sure they have what they need.

Even as I make a best-effort attempt to capture vital knowledge, I've got blind spots and they don't appear to be looking.
