Honestly, Cleo, the character limit on my instance is not necessarily a bad thing, lol. I know it costs $$$ for instance owners when posts occupy space on servers, and with the amount of stuff I generate, lol, i'm sure it occupies more than some others do. So I'm fine with the limit. Added bonus: it forces me to use my brain and get a little creative in figuring out ways to fit it all in, lol. Like, this post right here has used up every character available to me.

You could literally fit over 5,000 max-length messages in the size it takes to store one max-size GIF.
