I have been called many things, some of them even pleasant! 
I have never figured out how to accept a compliment without just dying inside a little. I really shouldn't - people are just being nice to me and that is good... right? 
Do you ever feel awkward accepting that others find value in something you did/do/think/feel? How do you handle it?
@mentallyalex Yep. Same. I usually just try to reflect it: "Oh, no, it wasn't just me, I could never have done this if you hadn't [something flattering here]."
@mentallyalex You should make it a little flipbook! So they tear off the perforated edge and flip through and see the cat melt all animated!
By the time they've figured it out and received the message and smiled, you've already vanished into the night!
That is the greatest idea that has ever idea'd. Make it an explanatory flipbook so they are so focused I can escape!
If I ever end up making money on anything I have written to a point where I need to be on display for it - I'm 100% doing this idea.

I was talking with someone else yesterday about how cool it would be to have an "Achievement" list for basics of existence. In video games and other tools we unlock badges of our accomplishments - how come I can't display a badge that says I people'd today!?
It could have gated unlocks with second and third tier accomplishments?
