"A minority of the Israeli leadership is leading us to disaster," says war cabinet minister Gantz.
"Getting back the hostages is the highest priority," says Gantz. "The hostages don't have much time."
The six demands from Gantz to Netanyahu with a June 8 agreement deadline:
- Dismantle Hamas
- The return of the hostages
- Establish an Israeli security control in Gaza
- An American committee for all civilian matters
- Rebuilding the southern region attacked by Hamas
- Cooperation with Arab states to promote regional security
- Mandating military or national service for the ultra-Orthodox
The first is hot air and impossible. Also intellectually dishonest.
