@LouisIngenthron The idea was, why have two languages, one for front-end, one for backend. Then the dream was a unified app framework, generating js for each side. The world has moved on and the js/app world is decadent. If you only have Android, I guess the dream persists with Kotlin?
@tedherman Ugh. Javascript can barely handle the front end. We need real languages to handle the hard work on the back end. To do otherwise is to doom oneself to a legacy of extensibility and maintainability issues.
