The fact that he still wouldn't have complete financial disclosure if it weren't for investigative journalists' work is, on its own, enough reason to impeach and replace him.

You can't allow blatant corruption to go unpunished in the highest offices of the land and still expect people to believe in the system. This kind of thing is just begging for revolution or civil war.

@LouisIngenthron sure you can. We’ve been doing it for years. That doesn’t make it right but it does make it normal in our abnormal society.

@WmShakesp3are Nah, in the past, without the internet and 24 hour news, they had a much easier time concealing the hidden corruption.

And when it got too blatant, they actually punished the person (at least removed them from power, even if they didn't face charges).

In other words, back then, they pretended that they weren't crooked.

Today, they don't even give enough of a shit to hide it.

@LouisIngenthron back in the day I used to say all politicians are liars and thieves (with apologies to the thieves). Now we can add judges.
