"Please do not lash out with violence at this decision, it makes me sad" the lefties say while SCOTUS just handed a dude whose followers own closets full of guns and openly threaten to murder their neighborhood Democrats free reign and dictatorship if the current POTUS does nothing but tell us to vote harder.

There's a wide gulf between inaction and violence. We need to take decisive action without giving up the moral high ground.
We are dealing with a massive national movement of well-organized open nazis with no internal sense of shame and we're gonna "moral high ground" this.

"Liberals are ruining America so we need to use fear and violence to stop them" is exactly how we got Trump in the first place. "Conservatives are ruining America so we need to use fear and violence to stop them" doesn't get us out of it. It just leads us on a race to the bottom.

We should absolutely be prepared to use violence defensively. I would never argue to the contrary.
My point is simply that we cannot be the aggressor. We cannot initiate violence and still claim to be any better than Trump is.
This decision is the culmination of political violence over 40 years by chipping away at the Constitution, removing civics, concentrating finances, and also buying out the party that's *supposed* to be opposing all this and doesn't care to (but IS willing to chastise their own faster than combatting the opposition.)

These things were all done by legislatively crushing employment, the poor, the marginalized, and children.

absolutely no nazis died in WWII. We held hands and sung Kum Ba Ya and they came to enlightenment.

If you don't understand the very basic difference between offensive and defensive violence, you shouldn't be speaking on the subject at all.
