Why stop with Manchin? Why not just blame the parliamentarian while you’re at it? That’s the usual Democrat surrender monkey formula. LBJ never let segregationists in his own party stop him from twisting arms and leveraging historic voting rights and civil rights legislation in a divided, boorish Congress. Nothing Biden has accomplished has come anywhere close to LBJ. He promised to codify Roe if GA gave Dems the Senate, but he was lying, and he’s doing it again.
