@paco More people would vote for Harris if she were the nominee instead of Biden, especially if she picked an establishment running mate.
Happy?
re: uspol
@paco There may be a few people who choose not to vote for her due to her gender or race, sure.
But I think a lot more people would choose to stay home and not vote for Trump because at least Harris would be a competent alternative. They know Trump is a bad guy, but they're more scared of Biden sleepwalking us into a war or something.

@LouisIngenthron Dredging up a days-old thread just to acknowledge you were right. :) She's the nominee, and I'm onboard.
re: uspol
@LouisIngenthron I disagree. I think Trumpism is a direct backlash against the last black president we had. I think, like Hillary Clinton, a lot of people would find reasons not to vote for Harris that they would swear have nothing to do with her race or her gender. I do not think she could win in a general election. And I definitely don't think she would win the general election if she only just started campaigning now. On top of all that, Biden is a good president and we should vote for him, given the situation. Would I vote for Harris if she were the nominee? Sure. Without a doubt. But that's not enough.
